STUDY, WORK & TRAINING VISAS

F1 Student Visa

• F2 Dependent Visa for Student’s Dependent Spouse / Children below Age 21. Spouse may work by securing an Employment Authorization Document (EAD)

• Student and Dependent Visa Extension / Allowable Status Change

Optional Practical Training (OPT) - F1 Students/ Graduates

• Full Time Work Permits (EAD) for valid for 1 year

• 2 Year Additional Extension for STEM Students/Graduates

• Student’s Dependents - May be included during OPT duration.

J1 Visa (Exchange Program / Paid Internship)

• Intern – For Post Secondary students or recent graduates of not more than 12 months. Valid for 1 to 7 years depending on the type of program
